The motorized kick wheel is driven by a heavy-duty 1/3 hp motor with a rubber friction drive. When the drive is disengaged the wheel will operate as a manual kick wheel. To use the drive, simply depress the foot pedal to engage the rubber drive against the edge of the flywheel. Speed range is 0-157 RPM. The wheel is whisper quiet, controlled with a switch conveniently located at the edge of the work table and has enough power to center 50 lbs. of clay.
